Hi, we’re Annie & Shannon,

Co-founders of The Team Together.

Why this team together?

  • We are both amazing facilitators. Game recognizes game.

  • We both love designing experiences that shake up what people are used to and make them go “wow, can we always work this way?”

  • We’ve designed thousands of experiences for clients across sectors and industries. Annie spent most of her career working alongside nonprofits, foundations, and social enterprises. Shannon designed her own toy, supported women toy entrepreneurs, designed date night games, and did curriculum development in higher-ed. Together, we consulted on change management projects with Fortune 1000 companies, including major media titans, financial institutions, large fashion brands, and web security companies.

  • We’ve crafted customized meetings, workshops, and retreats of all sizes, from small c-suite leadership meetings to global conferences with hundreds of attendees.  We shake things up, both in-person and virtually so that our events are dynamic, memorable, and most importantly, have a lasting impact. We promise we’re not just another Zoom event.

  • We’re insatiable learners. Annie has her masters in Organizational Development & Leadership, Shannon has her masters in Engineering + Entrepreneurship. We didn’t stop at the degrees — we are in a constant state of sharing what we’re listening to or reading (shout out to the podcasts Brave New Work, Dare to Lead, and Leadermoprhosis for giving us endless fodder).

  • At our core, we are people-people. We both agree that business is about building relationships and love partnering with others that believe that too.

Why The Team Together?

While our name describes what we do, it also describes how we do it. When you work with us, we are on a team together, we’re not working for you, or at you, but with you.

We love to leave teams better off than we found them.

As facilitators, we create temporary worlds that bring teams together, allowing them to experience new ways of interacting, listening, and voicing their beliefs. These environments are contagious and invigorating — a single experience can shift what people think “working” looks like.

Once people have a chance to be heard, connection happens organically, and hard conversations don’t feel so hard. The results are magical. Real work gets done, priorities become clarified, cross-functional communication flows, and confidence increases.

We support teams when it counts the most – when they come together.
